Darlene King Green resides in the Fauquier village of Hume. She is the daughter of Bedford and Bertha King. Her ancestors have been residents of Fauquier County since the Revolutionary War. Darlene is a retired Social Services Worker who stays busy assisting the homeless. She is a member of the Mount Morris Baptist Church in Hume, where she has served as Church Clerk for over 12 years. Darlene and her husband, Deacon Daniel Green, have three daughters, one son, three grandsons and a granddaughter.

Host: AAHA’s Community Outreach Coordinator Christine Taylor Lewis. Christine is a daughter of Fauquier County spending much of her youth in Warrenton’s Haiti community and is a graduate of William C. Taylor High School and the University of Detroit.
