Robin Upshur Fields was born to Robert and Pauline Hall Upshur and was raised in the Marshall/Rectortown area of Fauquier County. Robin graduated from Fauquier High in 1973. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Averett University, Danville, VA. In 2015, Robin retired from the Federal Government after 30+ years. For a few years, she was a Fauquier County substitute teacher. Robin was married to the late Pastor Marcus D. Fields, Sr. From their union, were 3 sons and a daughter: Marcus (Tifani), Michael, Mitchell (Jillian) and Meesha Fields Chun (Chhay). She is blessed with 5 beautiful grandchildren: Taya, Corinne, Cali, Chase, and Jacob. Being a grandmother is the joy of her life. Robin enjoys baking and cooking, singing and listening to music, traveling, photography, and taking nature walks. Above all, she loves the Lord and enjoys giving back.

Host: AAHA’s Community Outreach Coordinator Christine Taylor Lewis. Christine is a daughter of Fauquier County spending much of her youth in Warrenton’s Haiti community and is a graduate of William C. Taylor High School and the University of Detroit.
